I know, I know… I gave this speech about making these last months great and getting back to regularly sharing with you all and what do I do? Disappear again.
But not really.
I just got back from visiting some friends in North Carolina and took some much needed vacay. Prior to that, I had three programs at work I needed to wrap up while I launched a new one — one I am currently in the middle of completing. And still managing my side hustles and part time business while I prepare to launch another part time business dedicated to hustling.
Work has really ramped up to end on a positive and well prepared note for 2020. It’s been a very whirlwind November for me and trust and believe I am happy to see it come to a closure. Especially with me getting 5 days off for Thanksgiving, none of which constitutes as my vacation days.
I’m happy that I got a chance to drop in today. I hope November has not been as crazy for you for as it feels like it’s been for me. I’m going to do my best to end 2019 strong with you all I look forward to what the new year will bring us.
Girl, I had plans to be all over this site with some fabulous updates to roll out for the new year. But as you can see, nope! This was my hell week at work. And not like ‘I hate my life’ kind of hell. More like I was running four programs over the course of this week, three of which were back-to-back. And that meant preparing for the next program the day of a program I also had to prepare for. Ugh.
And although I’ll never admit this to an employer, I work amazingly well under pressure. It’s not my ideal work situation, but when my back is against the wall, I can perform. And the programs were pretty successful and the director of my organization had pleasant things to say about their overall outcome.
That’s no excuse for not sharing with you amazing hustlers in the making, I I just wanted to let you know where I was at this week. You’re not neglected, I promise. I just had to take of what take cares of the bills. Right?
On this Veteran’s day weekend, I wish you success as you map out and plan how you will rock 2020. I’ll be making the same effort. It’s also my mother’s birthday weekend and with that comes a mini family reunion.
Till next week, keep hustlin’ your way to your dreams!
But as long as you haven’t given up or quit, you’re still making progress. Your timeframe isn’t someone else’s. When you’re suppose to make it is on another clock separate from someone else’s. Focus on the progress. Focus on you.
