Last year, I wrote a short eBook sharing five tips I use to market my side hustles. Many people did not and still don’t believe me that Craigslist helped me turn my notary hustle into a part time notary business.

What’s the difference between a side hustle and a part time business (or a business in general)?

  • A dedicated bank account
  • A dedicated website, self-hosted
  • An email address ending in your website domain and not in gmail, yahoo or msn
  • A separate business phone #
  • Business cards (yes, business cards still work)

I even had to explain to a woman in my LinkedIn notary group how I’ve been success using Craigslist to market myself because she didn’t believe it either.

I break it down in five simple steps that are not just applicable to notary publics, but anyone who has a service based hustle. It’s not magic and it’s not an overnight gimmick, but it does work. I’m using these tactics to this day, every week.

And I welcome feedback and free thoughts!!
